Kahlua - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. dark brown sugar, firmly packed
    2 c. water
    2 Tbsp. vanilla extract
    1 c. granulated sugar
    1/2 c. instant coffee
    3 c. vodka
Preparation
    Combine the sugars and water in saucepan.
    Bring to boiling point.
    Boil 5 minutes.
    Gradually stir in coffee, use a wire whisk.
    Remove from heat and cool.
    Pour mixture into jug.
    Add vodka and vanilla.
    Mix thoroughly.
    Cover and let stand for 2 weeks.
