Ingredients

3 egg yolks
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 Tbsp. oleo
1/2 c. sugar
1 pt. sweet milk
1 1/2 c. flaked coconut
2 Tbsp. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
pinch of salt
Preparation

Beat eggs with mixer until foamy.
Add sugar, flour and cornstarch.
Slowly add milk.
Cook until thick.
Remove from heat; add salt, vanilla, oleo and coconut.
Return to heat; cook until coconut, salt and vanilla are hot and mixed well with pie filling.
Pour in 9 or 9 5/8-inch baked pie crust.
Top with meringue.
Bake until golden brown.
