Jalapeno Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. cornbread mix
    2 1/2 c. milk
    1/2 c. salad oil
    3 eggs, beaten
    1 large chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 c. cream-style corn
    1/2 c. finely chopped jalapeno peppers
    1 1/2 c. sharp Cheddar cheese
    1/2 lb. bacon, cooked and crumbled
    1 garlic clove (optional)
Preparation
    Put cornbread mix in a large bowl; add milk and stir.
    Add other ingredients in order given.
    Bake in 3 greased 8 x 8 x 2-inch pans at 400\u00b0 for about 35 minutes until done.
    This freezes well.
