Tomato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can tomato with liquid, cut up
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 to 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    salt to taste
    1 qt. milk (skim)
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
Preparation
    In large saucepan, bring tomatoes to a boil, then add baking soda and garlic salt.
    Reduce heat.
    Add the milk.
    Heat through but do not boil.
    Yields 1 1/2 quarts.
