Baked Squash - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. granulated sugar
1 Tbsp. vanilla
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
2 c. cooked, mashed squash
2 c. milk
2 large well beaten eggs
nutmeg (optional)
Preparation

Mix sugar and cornstarch.
Add salt and squash to sugar mixture.
Scald milk and add to squash mixture.
Fold in eggs and vanilla.
Sprinkle top with nutmeg if desired.
Bake at 350\u00b0 until knife inserted in center comes out clean, approximately 30 minutes.
Serves 6.
