Sausage Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. raisins
    2 c. water
    1 lb. uncooked sausage
    2 1/4 c. plain flour
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 tsp. soda
    3 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
Preparation
    Simmer raisins in water for 10 minutes; drain and reserve liquid.
    Stir uncooked sausage into liquid.
    Add sugar, flour, spice and soda.
    Mix in nuts and raisins.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Yields 3 loaves (9 x 5 x 2 3/4-inch).
    Serve with cream cheese.
