Chiffon Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. salad oil
7 unbeaten egg yolks
3/4 c. cold water
1 tsp. vanilla
7 egg whites
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
Preparation

Measure and sift into a large bowl the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
Make a well and add the oil, egg yolks, cold water and vanilla.
Beat with a spoon until smooth.
Beat the egg whites and cream of tartar until stiff.
Pour yolk mixture over white mixture and beat until blended well. Pour into ungreased tube pan. Bake 55 minutes at 325\u00b0 and then 10 minutes at 350\u00b0. Cool in pan turned upside down.
Remove and frost.
