Italian Cream Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter
    1/2 c. Crisco
    2 c. sugar
    5 eggs, separated
    2 c. flour
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. coconut
    1 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
Preparation
    Combine butter, Crisco and sugar. Cream together well. Add egg yolks, one at a time, beating well. Add flour, buttermilk, soda, coconut and nuts. Whip 5 egg whites and fold in. Grease and flour 13 x 9-inch sheet cake pan or 3 layer pans.
