Lemon Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar (granulated)
    4 Tbsp. cornstarch
    dash of salt
    1 c. milk
    3 eggs, slightly beaten
    1/4 c. melted butter
    1 baked, deep dish pie shell
    1 tsp. grated lemon peel
    1/4 c. fresh lemon juice
    1 c. sour cream
    1 c. cream, whipped
    2 Tbsp. powdered sugar
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    In saucepan, combine 1 cup granulated sugar, cornstarch and salt.
    Stir in milk.
    Bring to a boil and cool until thick.
    Blend small amount of hot mixture into slightly beaten eggs.
    Add all egg mixture to cooked mixture.
    Cook and stir until thick.
    Remove from
    heat.
    Add butter, lemon peel and lemon juice.
    Mix well. Cover and cool.
    Fold in sour cream and spoon into baked pie shell.
