Coronado Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. lean ground beef
    3/4 c. rice
    1 small onion, chopped
    1/2 to 1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. paprika
    1 tsp. marjoram
    1 small bottle stuffed olives, sliced
    1 1/3 c. tomato juice
    1/2 c. boiling water
    1/2 c. grated cheese
    1/2 tsp. basil (optional)
Preparation
    Cook beef, rice and onion in 1 tablespoon oil until lightly browned.
    Season.
    Add sliced olives, tomato juice and boiling water.
    Place in a 1 1/2-quart casserole.
    Cover and bake in a 300\u00b0 oven for 1 hour.
    Uncover; spread with cheese.
    Continue baking for about 10 minutes, or until cheese is melted.
    (Supposed to serve 6.)
