Southern Persimmon Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. ginger
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    3 eggs, beaten
    2 c. persimmon pulp
    1/2 c. butter, melted
    2 1/2 c. milk
    1 c. nut meats
Preparation
    Sift dry ingredients together.
    Add eggs to persimmon pulp, then add dry ingredients, butter and milk.
    Add nut meats and mix well.
    Bake in a greased dish at 350\u00b0 until firm, about 1 hour. Serve with hard sauce, if desired.
