Mexican Lasagna - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/2 chopped onion
    1 (10 1/2 oz.) can pizza sauce
    1/4 c. sliced black olives
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. crushed dried oregano
    1 beaten egg
    1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1 c. cream-style cottage cheese
    4 c. tortilla chips
Preparation
    Brown ground beef and onion. Drain.
    Stir in pizza sauce, olives, salt, oregano and dash of pepper.
    Cook, covered, 30 minutes.
    In a bowl, combine egg and cheeses.
    Set aside 8 whole tortilla chips. Slightly crush remaining chips.
    Spread 1/3 meat mixture in a 13 x 9-inch dish. Top with 1/2 cheese mixture and 1/2 crushed chips. Repeat layers, ending with meat. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes. Top with whole tortilla chips and more cheese if desired.
