Southern Pecan Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 eggs, beaten
2/3 c. sugar
1 c. dark corn syrup
1/3 c. melted margarine
1 c. pecan halves
dash of salt
1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
Preparation

Beat 3 eggs thoroughly with 2/3 cup sugar, dash of salt, corn syrup and margarine.
Add pecan halves.
Pour into unbaked pastry shell.
Bake in moderate oven (350\u00b0) for 50 minutes or until knife inserted halfway between center and edge comes out clean.
Cool before serving.
