Mother'S Pecan Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. red Karo syrup
1/2 c. sugar
4 Tbsp. butter
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. pecans (I usually add 1 1/2 to 2 c. pecans)
Preparation

Boil first 3 ingredients until thickened.
In another bowl, beat eggs until they are fluffy.
Add slowly to hot hot mixture. Add vanilla and pecans.
Bake at 375\u00b0 until pie shell is well done, 25 to 30 minutes, depending on oven.
Use uncooked pie shell.
