Cherries In The Snow - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 angel food cake
    1 large container Cool Whip
    1 c. confectioners sugar
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    2 cans cherry pie filling
Preparation
    Blend cream cheese and sugar together.
    If too stiff, add a little milk.
    Set aside.
    Spread 1/2 of the Cool Whip in the bottom of a rectangular glass casserole.
    Slice cake thin.
    Layer with the Cool Whip, cheese, sugar mixture, more cake, then more Cool Whip.
    Top with cherries.
    Chill.
