Butternut Squash Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 well beaten egg yolks
1/2 tsp. salt
2 1/4 c. granulated sugar
5 Tbsp. flour
2 c. mashed butternut squash, cooled
3 c. sweet milk
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. allspice
3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
Preparation

Combine ingredients in order listed.
Mix thoroughly, then add stiffly beaten egg whites.
Pour into unbaked pie shells and bake 10 minutes at 400\u00b0 then for 40 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Makes 3 medium size pies.
