Italian Beef - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 or 4 lb. chuck roast
    1 1/2 tsp. oregano
    1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
    1 tsp. sweet basil
    1 or 2 cloves garlic
    1 pkg. Good Season's Italian dressing
    1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
    1 (12 oz.) can beer
    1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Mix together in a covered pan and bake at 250\u00b0 for 6 hours. Shred meat; remove fat and bones.
    Let set overnight in refrigerator.
    Reheat and serve on buns.
    (This can also be cooked in slow cooker.)
