Baked French Toast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. milk
    4 large eggs
    1/4 c. orange juice
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. vanilla extract
    confectioners sugar
Preparation
    Slice bread into 1/2 or 3/4-inch slices.
    Place slices in one layer in a 13 x 9-inch baking dish.
    Beat ingredients (except confectioners sugar) until completely blended and granulated sugar is dissolved.
    Pour mixture over bread; cover and refrigerate at least one hour (can refrigerate up to 48 hours).
    Bread will soak up the liquid.
    When ready to serve, heat oven to 425\u00b0.
    Lightly grease a jellyroll pan.
    Use a wide spatula to transfer slices to the pan.
    Allow space between each piece.
    Bake 12 to 15 minutes.
