Whole Wheat Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 Tbsp. oats
1/2 c. whole wheat flour
3 Tbsp. gluten flour
1 Tbsp. yeast
1 tsp. salt
1/3 c. DATE BUTTER
2 3/4 to 3 c. warm water
1 Tbsp. applesauce
Preparation

Stir
together first 5 ingredients.
Add other ingredients. Give
200 strokes.
The consistency should be soupy and stringy like
pancake
batter.
Add
3 cups whole wheat flour. Let sit
5 minutes.
Knead 10 minutes.
Rise 20 minutes.
Bake at 325\u00b0 to 350\u00b0
for
30
to 45 minutes.
A hollow sound when thumped indicates a thoroughly baked loaf.
