Christmas Ice Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 gal. vanilla ice cream
    1 (1 lb.) box coconut macaroons
    3/4 c. slivered almonds
    1/2 lb. red and green candied cherries
    sherry to taste
Preparation
    Soften the ice cream in a large bowl.
    Crush macaroons and stir into ice cream.
    Add remaining items and mix well.
    Place in refrigerator trays and freeze.
