Sausage-Sauerkraut Dinner - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans sauerkraut, drained
    1 medium onion, sliced thin
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. caraway seed
    1/2 c. white wine
    4 medium potatoes, sliced thin
    1 1/2 lb. sausage, cut into serving pieces (Eckrich link)
Preparation
    Mix well sauerkraut, onion, sugar and caraway seed; set aside. In greased 3-quart casserole, layer the potatoes, half the sauerkraut mixture.
    Add wine.
    Cover and bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 45 to 60 minutes.
    Serves 4 to 6.
    Can cook in layers in crock-pot (6 to 8 hours).
