Granny Pack'S Stack Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1 c. molasses
    4 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. salt
    2 (16 1/2 oz.) jars applesauce
    whipped cream
    1 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    1 tsp. soda
    1 c. milk
    nuts
Preparation
    Cream together the butter and sugar until light. Stir in molasses.
    Add eggs, one at a time.
    Add to creamed mixture along with milk, beating after each.
    Stir together flour, soda and salt. Add to creamed mixture along with milk, beating after each. Grease and flour 3 round pans.
    Pour 1 1/3 cups batter into each. Bake at 375\u00b0 until done.
    Remove from oven and cool on a rack. Repeat until batter is used.
    Put applesauce between each layer and on top.
    Refrigerate.
