Gingersnaps - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. molasses
    nuts (if desired)
    4 1/2 c. sifted flour
    3 Tbsp. ginger
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix in order given.
    Mold into small rolls.
    Wrap in waxed paper.
    Chill until firm.
    Slice and place on cookie sheet.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
