Potatoes Au Gratin - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 qt. cubed potatoes
    1 c. diced onion
    5 to 6 Tbsp. oleo
    4 to 5 Tbsp. flour
    2 c. milk
    cheese
Preparation
    Cook potatoes and onion until tender.
    Make a medium to thick white sauce.
    Melt oleo; add flour.
    Blend.
    Add milk, salt and pepper to taste.
    Cook until thick.
    Combine with drained, cooked potatoes and onions; stir, then place in large casserole.
    Top generously (1/4-inch thick) with good melting cheese (such as Longhorn).
    Bake in 375\u00b0 oven until cheese melts and potatoes are bubbly.
