Mrs. London'S Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 leeks, sliced in 1/2-inch slices (use white part and 1-inch of green)
1 Tbsp. butter
1 c. carrots, sliced
1 c. broccoli florets
1 c. cabbage, thin slices
1 c. cauliflower florets
1 small pkg. frozen Brussels sprouts
1 large can (46 oz.) chicken broth
garlic powder to taste
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Saute leeks in butter.
Add carrots, saute 1 more minute.
Add broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, Brussels and chicken broth and season to taste.
Simmer 10 minutes.
Vegetables should be crisp. Sprinkle with parsley when serving.
