Chocolate War Cake Creamy Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 1/3 c. powdered sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 egg
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. granulated sugar
2 Tbsp. water

Preparation

Mix together first 3 ingredients.
Just add, don't mix, next 2 ingredients.
Boil together for 1 minute last 2 ingredients.
Add to mixture and beat until smooth.
