Chicken Cavalatte - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. butter
    1/4 c. flour
    2 c. milk
    2 c. cooked chicken (2 lb.)
    1 c. mushrooms (1 jar)
    1/4 c. chopped pimento (1 jar)
    2 hard-boiled eggs, sliced
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. paprika
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 1/2 c. cooked rice
    1 c. grated cheese
Preparation
    Saute onions in 1/4 cup butter until transparent.
    Melt 1/4 cup and blend in flour; stir in milk.
    Stir over medium heat until thickened.
    Remove from heat and stir in all of the remaining ingredients, except rice and cheese.
    Spread rice in the bottom of a 2-quart casserole dish.
    Pour chicken mixture over rice and sprinkle with cheese.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until bubbly and browned.
