Bev'S Vegetable Dip - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salad oil
    1 tsp. garlic powder
    2 tsp. prepared mustard
    1/2 c. mayonnaise or Miracle Whip
Preparation
    Mix until sugar is dissolved and there are no lumps.
    Make well in advance (several hours at least) so sugar has time to lose its grainy texture.
    Refrigerate.
