Macaroni Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. chopped onions
    1 c. chopped celery
    3/4 c. chopped green pepper
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1 lb. ground beef
    2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    3 1/2 c. cooked tomatoes
    2 c. cooked macaroni
    grated cheese
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 300\u00b0.
    Cook onions, celery and green pepper in butter until onions are yellow.
    Add meat and brown.
    Add small amount of cheese to tomatoes and heat until cheese is melted (keep enough cheese to cover casserole).
    Add seasoning, tomatoes and macaroni to browned meat and blend well.
    Pour into casserole and bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 hour; remove and sprinkle with grated cheese. Cover and let stand until cheese melts before serving.
    Makes 10 servings.
