Poor Man'S Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. hamburger
    1 c. crushed crackers
    1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
Preparation
    Mix and spread in 9 x 13-inch pan or an 11 x 15-inch cookie sheet.
    Refrigerate overnight or place in freezer until firm, but not frozen.
    Cut into squares.
    Dip in flour.
    Brown in oil and place in Dutch oven.
    Mix can of mushroom soup with can of water. Pour over meat or use tomato sauce.
    Bake for 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
    The squares can be made ahead and frozen.
    When ready to use, do not thaw completely before baking; the squares must be firm.
