Yellow Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. yellow squash, sliced
    1/2 c. water
    1 doz. round, buttery crackers, crushed
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    1 (10 oz.) can cream of chicken soup
    1 egg
    1/4 c. butter, melted
    3 small carrots, grated
    1/2 c. onion, finely chopped
    1/2 c. herb-seasoned stuffing mix
Preparation
    In a 2-quart casserole, combine squash and water.
    Cover. Microwave at High (10) for 8 minutes.
    Stir after 4 minutes. Drain and coarsely chop.
