7 Minute Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 egg whites
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 Tbsp. cream of tartar
    6 Tbsp. water
    6 large marshmallows
    1 Tbsp. vanilla flavoring or other flavoring, as desired
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients in top of double boiler, place over boiling water and cook for 7 minutes, beating constantly with an electric mixer until it will hold a peak.
    Remove from heat; add vanilla and mix until it is the right consistency to spread on cake.
