Cranberry Fruit Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. grated orange peel
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    juice of one orange
    1 egg, beaten
    1 c. cranberries, halved
    1/2 c. nuts, chopped
Preparation
    Measure flour, sugar, baking powder, soda, salt and orange peel in bowl.
    Cut in shortening.
    Add enough water to orange juice to make 3/4 cup.
    Add juice and egg into flour mixture. Stir in cranberries and nuts.
    Pour into loaf pan 9 x 5 x 3-inches, which has been greased.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 60 to 70 minutes.
    Test with toothpick.
    Wrap while warm and slice the next day.
