Bourbon Pecan Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. seedless golden raisins
    1 c. bourbon
    1 c. butter
    2 c. sugar
    6 eggs
    3 1/2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 lb. coarsely chopped pecans
Preparation
    Soak raisins in bourbon overnight. Cream butter and sugar. Gradually add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.
