Irish Soda Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 1/4 to 4 1/2 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
3 Tbsp. sugar
1 Tbsp. caraway seed
1 c. dark seedless raisins or currants
2 c. buttermilk or soured milk
butter and cinnamon sugar
Preparation

In a large bowl, mix 4 cups flour with the baking powder, soda, salt, sugar and caraway seed.
Add raisins and mix with fingers to separate them.
Add milk and mix with a fork until mixture forms a dough.
Sprinkle about 1/4 cup more flour on a board or counter.
Turn out dough and knead for about 5 minutes, working in the flour from the board and forming the dough into a smooth rond loaf.
If sticky, add more flour.
