Stuffed Mushrooms - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. medium mushrooms
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1/4 c. chopped green pepper
    3 Tbsp. margarine
    1 1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/2 tsp. dried thyme leaves
    1/4 tsp. ground turmeric
    1 Tbsp. margarine
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Remove stems from mushrooms.
    Finely chop enough of the stems to measure 1/3 cup.
    Cook and stir mushroom stems, onion and green pepper in 3 tablespoons margarine until tender.
    Remove from heat.
    Stir in bread crumbs, salt, thyme, turmeric and pepper.
    Heat 1 tablespoon margarine until melted in baking dish.
    Fill mushroom caps with mixture.
    Bake 15 minutes. Set oven to broil.
    Broil for 2 to 3 minutes.
    Let stand 5 minutes.
