Roasted Garlic-Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 whole galic heads
    2 bacon slices, diced
    1 cup diced onion
    1 cup diced carrot
    2 gloves garlic, minced
    6 cups diced baking potato, (2 pounds)
    4 cups low salt chicken broth
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 bay leaf
    1 cup 2% low-fat milk
    1/4 cup chopped parsley
Preparation
    Wrap each garlic head separately in aluminum foil.
    Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour; let cool for 10 minutes.
    Separate cloves and squeeze to extract 1/4 cup of garlic pulp discard the skins.
