Italian Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 oz. small uncooked noodles
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 lb. ground beef
    2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
    1 c. creamed cottage cheese
    1 large (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    1/4 c. sour cream
    1/3 c. sliced green onions
    1 Tbsp. minced green pepper
    2 Tbsp. butter, melted
Preparation
    Cook noodles and drain.
    Saute meat in 1 tablespoon butter until browned.
    Stir in tomato sauce.
    Season with salt and pepper.
    Remove from heat and set aside.
    In a bowl, combine cottage cheese, cream cheese, sour cream, green onions and green pepper.
    Spread half of the noodles in a 2-quart casserole.
    Cover with cheese mixture.
    Add remaining noodles.
    Pour 2 tablespoons melted butter over noodles.
    Spread meat mixture over all.
    Bake, covered, in 350\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes.
    Casserole may be prepared early, refrigerated and baked just before serving.
