Beef And Rice Creole(Method: One Pot) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. hamburger
    1 small onion
    1 1/2 c. uncooked instant rice
    1 medium green pepper
    1 (16 oz.) can whole tomatoes
    1 Tbsp. flour
    2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 Tbsp. parsley
    1 clove garlic
Preparation
    Dice green pepper and onion; set aside.
    Cook hamburger until light brown, stirring continuously to crumble meat into small pieces.
    Drain grease from meat into a heat-resistant can. Sprinkle meat with flour.
    Add green pepper, onion, salt, pepper, parsley and garlic.
    Cook over low heat until onion is tender. Break up tomatoes with a fork.
    Stir broken up tomatoes and water into meat mixture; heat to a boil.
    Reduce heat, cover and simmer 5 minutes.
    Stir in rice.
    Remove from heat; let stand, covered, 5 to 7 minutes.
