No Bake Alpine Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. mini marshmallows
    1/2 c. warm water
    1/2 c. chopped dates
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/2 c. crushed graham crackers
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts
    1/2 c. evaporated milk
Preparation
    Mix warm water and marshmallows and let stand for 5 minutes. Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
    Shape into a roll about 2 1/2-inches round.
    Roll in additional crushed graham cracker crumbs.
    Refrigerate 24 hours.
    To serve, slice and top with whipped cream.
