Oatmeal Drop Cookies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 oz. shortening
2 eggs
7 oz. rolled oats (quick, uncooked)
1/2 lb. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
6 oz. raisins, cooked and chopped
1/2 lb. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. milk
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar on medium speed for 5 minutes.
Add eggs and vanilla.
Cream until well mixed.
Add oats; mix on low to blend.
Combine dry ingredients.
Add dry ingredients and milk alternately.
Mix at low speed until well blended.
Add raisins and mix well.
Drop onto greased baking sheet.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
Makes 5 dozen cookies.
