Baked Escalloped Apples - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 small apples (about 3 1/2 lb.), cored, peeled and sliced, making small bite-size pieces
    6 dashes of lemon juice
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/4 c. water
    1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
    2 tsp. margarine
    2 dashes of salt
Preparation
    Mix apples and lemon juice.
    Combine sugar, water, cinnamon, margarine and salt and stir lightly.
    Pour into 13 x 9-inch baking dish.
    Cover with foil and bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes, stirring once halfway through baking time until apples are tender.
    Serve warm or cold.
    Makes about 8 servings.
