German Chocolate Cake Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. sugar
    2/3 c. evaporated milk
    2 egg yolks
    1/3 c. shortening
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/3 c. flaked coconut
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, milk, eggs and shortening.
    Cook over medium heat; mix until it comes to a boil. Remove from heat.
    Stir in vanilla, coconut and pecans.
    Cool for 15 minutes.
