Smothered Pork Chops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 pork chops (3/4 inch thick)
    1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
    2 cans cream of mushroom soup
    2 Tbsp. water
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese (optional topping after cooked)
Preparation
    Score fat on chops and brush both sides with Worcestershire sauce.
    Arrange in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch dish so \"tails\" are in center.
    Cover with plastic wrap, turning back 1 corner to vent. Microwave on High for 14 minutes, turning after 7 minutes.
    Drain off liquid.
    In small bowl, combine soup, water, salt and pepper. Spread over chops.
    Top with onion.
    Insert temperature probe so tip is in liquid on bottom of dish.
    Cover tightly with plastic, arranging loosely around probe to vent.
    Microwave at Auto Simmer for 4 to 5 hours.
