8 Egg Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 2/3 c. sugar
2 sticks butter or margarine
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. plain White Lily flour
8 eggs
1/2 c. Crisco
8 Tbsp. evaporated milk
Preparation

Cream butter, Crisco and sugar thoroughly.
Add eggs, one at a time.
Add flour and milk alternately, start with flour and end with flour.
Add flavoring and bake approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes.
Do not preheat oven; start in cold oven.
Cook in a deep tube pan.
It makes a big cake.
