Filling For Chocolate Fried Pies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
2 Tbsp cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla
Pet Milk
5 pats butter (halved)
oil for frying
Preparation

Combine sugar and cocoa. Add vanilla. Stir in just enough pet milk to make everything stick together. Filling must be very stiff. Roll out pie crust or canned biscuits to make a large circle. Dip fingers in cold water and dampen the edge of half of each circle of biscuit. Add one rounded tsp. chocolate filling and half a pat of butter. Fold in half and with teeth of fork dipped in flour, press around edges to seal. The cold water and pressing edges keeps filling from running into the oil when frying.
