Mexican Bean Dip - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. lean hamburger
1 can Bush pinto beans, drain off some liquid
1 container sour cream
1/4 to 1/2 c. shredded cheese (mild or sharp Cheddar)
1 to 1 1/2 pkg. taco seasoning (Old El Paso is salty)
1 jar chunky salsa or taco sauce
1 bag Fritos scoops or nacho chips
Preparation

Brown hamburger in a skillet, adding 1/2 to 2/3 of the taco seasoning (to taste).
Use fork to break up the meat as it is browning.
Drain hamburger.
Place beans in same skillet the meat was browned in, using a fork to mash the beans to desired consistency.
Mix 1/2 to 2/3 package of taco seasoning in beans while cooking.
Broil to melt cheese.
Layer in 9-inch pie plate or casserole dish sour cream, beans, meat, salsa and cheese.
