Baba Maria'S Best Torte - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 eggs, separated
    8 Tbsp. walnuts, finely chopped
    1 1/2 Tbsp. breadcrumbs, finely ground
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    In small bowl, mix breadcrumbs, chopped walnuts and sifted baking powder together.
    With mixer, beat egg yolks until lemon colored.
    Add 2 tablespoons sugar and beat well for about 10 to 15 minutes.
    Meanwhile, beat egg whites, adding 1 tablespoon sugar until stiff peaks form.
    Fold in yolks to whites gently.
    Fold in dry ingredients, gently.
    Do not overblend.
    Line 2 (9-inch) round cake pans with waxed paper.
    Grease and flour.
    Pour batter in pans and bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
    Take out of oven and invert on dish towel.
    Peel off wax paper and cool.
