Candy Coated Peanuts - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3 c. raw peanuts
1/2 c. water
4 drops red food coloring
1 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt

Preparation

Put all
ingredients in heavy frying pan and bring to a boil. Cook and stir until sugar melts and then gets dry again and coats peanuts.
Spread peanuts on cookie sheet.
Place in preheated oven (300\u00b0) and bake 15 minutes.
Do not overcook!
