Vanilla Sauce(Sissy'S Sauce For Mama'S Bread Pudding) - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. boiling water
1/4 c. real butter
2 to 3 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

In saucepan, combine sugar, cornstarch and salt.
Gradually stir in water.
Boil, stirring constantly, for 5 minutes or until thickened.
Add remaining ingredients and spoon hot over pudding.
